Welcome to the Parish Council Chloe!

At its meeting on 14 September 2020 the Parish Council approved the co-option of Chloe Gunn as a Shurdington Parish Councillor. Chloe has lived in Shurdington for the past 6 years and the village has very quickly become an integral part of her life. She wants to make a positive difference to the community and sees being a Parish Councillor as a superb opportunity to do so. She describes the COVID-19 Lockdown situation as giving her the time to reflect and appreciate the beautiful surroundings and she sees the opportunity to serve as a Parish Councillor as a conduit to enhancing this and it was an opportunity she felt she could not pass by.

Chloe is a professional working in the financial services sector, and describes a number of attributes that would compliment her role as a Parish Councillor. She has the ability to plan, implement and manage objectives and strategic plans, analyse and recommend metrics, programs and processes to effectively manage continuous improvement in and navigate through turbulent periods without losing focus on business objectives.

Outside of her career, between her son, dog and horse, she spends a huge amount of time in the great outdoors and is passionate about a healthy and active lifestyle.

As a Parish Councillor Chloe has specific responsibility for the area including Crippetts Road, The Crippetts, Church Road and Leckhampton Lane to Main Road.
