Community Centre

SHURDINGTON COMMUNITY CENTRE IS HOPING TO REOPEN TO REGULAR USER GROUPS FROM SEPTEMBER 2021 ONWARDS.
UNTIL THAT TIME, THE HALLS WILL ONLY BE IN USE FOR EDUCATION, HEALTH, EMERGENCY AND PUBLIC SERVICES.

The Community Centre continues to recognise the health dangers posed to and by people travelling to the Centre from other areas and all the concurrent issues of indoor gathering with possibility of aerosol transmission.

The Community Centre does not currently have the personnel or resources to safely manage reopening to all groups or to minimise sufficiently, the impact on our user groups.

Thank you for your continued support and patience through what continues to be a challenging time for all.

As the situation changes, the Committee will continue to monitor all Government and scientific advice and guidance.

Thanks again to all the groups and individuals who continue to support Shurdington Community Centre.

It consists of two spacious halls, a room which Links both, a grassed open space enclosed by security fencing, and an entertainments license till 11:00pm making it ideal for any function from meetings to concerts, educational courses, conferences, parties, jumble sales and fund raising events.

There is a securely fenced car park to the rear of the Century Hall, which may be used by carriers of expensive equipment such as catering or disco.

Both halls have Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilets, baby changing room and well equipped kitchens.

Shurdington Community Centre (SCC) is the hub of our semi rural community.

It is situated 3 miles from Cheltenham and straddles a busy, main road.

Shurdington village is separate and distinct from the town and the population of just over 2000 maintains a strong community identity with many using the Community Centre
